These 2-hour classes take place once a day for five days
All right, budding chefs- it’s time to kick your parents out of the kitchen and show ‘em what you’ve got. Baker Clemence will teach how to bake like a pro in five short days. You’ll learn mise-en-place, how to mix, shape, pipe and bake as though you were under the tent at the bake-off.
DAY 1: BREAKFAST PASTRIES
Introduction to the science of baking
Strawberry scones with lemon glaze
DAY 2: CREAM PUFFS & ECLAIRS
Pate a choux
DAY 3: COOKIES & BROWNIES
The perfect chocolate chip cookies
Sinful chocolate brownies
Pie prep for Day 4
DAY 4; PIES!
Classic, full-sized blueberry pie
Jammy hand pies
DAY 5: FRENCH MACARONS
Classic almond shells
Chocolate ganache filling
Once you register for the class, you’ll receive a shopping list with recommendations for sourcing, substitutions for various ingredients, a list of helpful tools to have on hand and any little bit of prep you might need before joining us on this virtual cooking adventure! As with our in-person classes, we believe that small class sizes mean you receive more instruction, so these courses are limited to 12 students.
