“Beurre Noisette” How To Brown Butter

posted in: Food & Recipes | 0

Brown Butter is a simple sauce, perfect to toss with cooked vegetables, pasta or potatoes. It’s versatile and can also be used as your base to sauté fish, meat or poultry.

In a heavy bottom pan, melt butter over medium heat until the mixture starts to foam.

Keep a close eye on the melting butter, watch as it changes into a light caramel brown color. It will start to smell heavenly!

Turn the heat off and cool.

Brown butter can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week. The best container for Beurre Noisette is a Preserving Jar or a Mason Jar, with a lid.
