Instructions
In a sautee pan melt the sugar, without stirring much, until it is golden brown.
Turn the heat down and add the butter and stir until it has melted. Add the cider.
Add the apples and cook down until they are caramelized.
Remove from heat and cool before arranging in a tight spiral to a cold, unbaked crust.
Bake as directed above.
