Maple Espresso Martini
- Combine the Base Ingredients: Add vodka, coffee liqueur, maple syrup, and chilled espresso to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for 20–30 seconds to chill and mix the ingredients.
- Prepare the Creamy Top Layer: In a separate shaker or small bowl, lightly whip the heavy cream until it thickens slightly but remains pourable.
- Strain and Layer: Strain the cocktail mixture into the rimmed, chilled martini glass.
- Gently pour the whipped cream over the back of a spoon onto the drink's surface to create a creamy top layer.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish with three coffee beans, a light drizzle of maple syrup, or a dusting of cocoa powder on the foam.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- Espresso Alternatives: Strongly brewed coffee can be used instead of espresso, but it must be chilled before being added to the shaker.
- Sweetness Adjustment: Adjust the maple syrup to taste if you prefer a slightly less sweet drink.
- Creamy Layer: The added cream creates a luxurious layer.
- Rim Decoration: The cocoa or cinnamon sugar rim adds visual appeal and a hint of sweetness.
