Passion Fruit & Ginger Italian Soda

  • ¼ cup passion fruit puree (about 4-5 passion fruits)
  • cup simple syrup*
  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger (add to taste)
  • sparkling water
  • passion fruit seeds


  • Strain passion fruit pulp through mesh strainer making sure to press the seeds with a back of a spoon to get all the puree you can out. 
  • Reserve seeds to the side to use as garnish. Mix passion fruit puree with simple syrup. 
  • Peel ginger and grate over your passion fruit syrup, stir to combine.
  • Pour about 3 Tbsps of the passion fruit ginger syrup into a glass with ice, top with sparkling water and passion fruit seeds. Drink up!


*Simple Syrup – Heat 1/3 cup water with 1/3 cup white sugar over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
