Passion Fruit & Ginger Italian Soda
Ingredients
- ¼ cup passion fruit puree (about 4-5 passion fruits)
- ⅓ cup simple syrup*
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger (add to taste)
- sparkling water
- passion fruit seeds
Instructions
- Strain passion fruit pulp through mesh strainer making sure to press the seeds with a back of a spoon to get all the puree you can out.
- Reserve seeds to the side to use as garnish. Mix passion fruit puree with simple syrup.
- Peel ginger and grate over your passion fruit syrup, stir to combine.
- Pour about 3 Tbsps of the passion fruit ginger syrup into a glass with ice, top with sparkling water and passion fruit seeds. Drink up!
Notes
*Simple Syrup – Heat 1/3 cup water with 1/3 cup white sugar over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
