BBQ Wings
Ingredients
BBQ Sauce
- 4 cups Heinz ketchup
- 2 cups brown sugar
- ¼ cup Worcestershire
- 3 tbsps smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsps California chili powder
- 1½ cups honey
- 4 oz Jameson Irish whiskey
Chicken Wings
- 5 lbs chicken wings
- 2 oz grapeseed oil
- ½ tsp salt
- 1¼ tbsp black pepper
- 1¼ tbsp paprika
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1¼ tbsp garlic powder
- ½ tbsp California chili powder
Instructions
BBQ Sauce
- Place all ingredients in a sauce pot over med-high heat and let simmer for 20 minutes, stirring frequently.
Chicken Wings
- Preheat oven to 350℉
- Place chicken wings in perforated pan or bowl and drain all excess water and juices. Place drained wings in a large mixing bowl.
- Add oil and all spices into mixing bowl with chicken wings and mix well until all wings are coated evenly and thoroughly.
- Place wings on a full-size sheet tray with a rack and into your pre-heated oven for 15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and let cool. Toss finished wings and sauce in a mixing bowl until wings are well coated. Enjoy!
