Brown Butter Buttercream

We’ve got a great tutorial on how to brown butter for this incredible buttercream frosting. Make this for your next dinner party – it’s gluten free and, if you sub out the whole milk for oat milk, dairy-free as well.

Ingredients
- 1 cup browned butter room temp more brown bits = more love
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 Tbsp heavy cream
- 1 Tbsp whole milk
Instructions
- Place brown butter in a mixing bowl fitted with paddle attachment.
- Add powdered sugar and salt and mix on low speed until incorporated and smooth.
- Add vanilla extract, cream, and milk and continue to cream on medium speed until fluffy and buttercream is light brown.
